The Austmarr Network welcomes you to participate in the fourth network workshop. This workshop focuses on the methodological challenges of working with data from different disciplines in reconstructing religious practices and change. These issues will be examined in the context of the different religions and changes in religion in the circum-Baltic area from the late Iron Age to the medieval period. We will allot 30 minutes of discussion time per 30 minute presentation in order to make possible in-depth exploration of the questions raised.
The workshop is free of charge and two lunches and a dinner are included. Participants are expected to pay for their own travel and accomodation. The number of participants will be limited, so please send us your abstract (approx 500 words/3000 characters) as soon as possible and no later than 1 September 2014 30 September 2014. Each paper will be given 30 minutes of presentation and 30 minutes of discussion. Abstracts to be sent to maths.bertell@miun.se.
